UPDATE: At this time, we have made the tough decision to only offer studio portraits at certain times of the year. Our "Pop Up" studios will offer special sessions, scheduled around certain times of the year and around holidays such as Christmas and Easter. Pricing will vary and will be advertised with the sessions. The "Pop Up" Studio sessions will be offered at various locations in the Quinte Region as we partner with different businesses locally!
All other sessions will be shot outdoors, with the exception of Newborn Sessions and New Baby Sessions, which will be shot in a private room in my home. If you have any questions regarding this change to our services, please contact us for more information.
All session fees include the photographer's time and talent, which involves both the shooting and editing of your images!
A non-refundable deposit, of half (50%) of the session fee is due at the time of booking. This deposit ensures your session date and time is held for you. If the deposit isn't paid, then the session is not considered booked.
In the event of a cancellation, the deposit may be used towards another session. However, in the event of a no-show without cause, the deposit may be forfeited.
(From time-to-time special seasonal promotions may be offered that require a different deposit amount)
Seasonal sessions (Easter, Christmas, Halloween, etc.) may be offered at various times of the year. These sessions may have different pricing and image quantities than listed here. Please check out our "Seasonal Promotions" page for more information on these sessions.
Refund and Re-shoot Policy...
Due to the custom nature of photography, refunds on sessions are not available. Re-shoots will only be offered in the event of an equipment malfunction or other technological issue relating to the session.
Please keep in mind that the mood and health of both adults and children, along with clothing choices, weather, location and the length of time you have booked for your session can drastically affect the outcome of the images and are beyond the control of the photographer
Tips to ensure you get the images you want:
-Don't try to rush the session by booking a short session when you might need a longer timeframe or vice versa. Give yourself, your family and the photographer the time needed to capture perfect images of your family, especially if you have young children or a larger group
-If you or any member of your family is ill, try to rebook for another time
-Don't schedule sessions close to nap or dinner times
-Plan out what you are going to wear and give the family lots of time to get ready prior to the session
-HAVE FUN! Remember, not all images need to have everyone looking at the camera. Allow yourself and your family the opportunity to be in the moment and for the photographer to capture that moment
-Communicate with your photographer! We want you to LOVE your images and we understand that each family has different needs. We will do our best to accommodate those needs and work with you
Although we capture many images during the session, not every image comes out perfectly and we strive to include only those images worthy of being on your walls. Much time is spent choosing and editing the FINEST images to give our clients. These images are also an expression of who we are as photographers and artists and we want to give you the BEST of our work, therefore we do not include all images taken during the shooting time of the session. We also do not sell or give our unedited files to clients. Any re-editing of the images provided is also not permitted.
